Vestigios is a personal project inspired by the history of women, including the author’s grandmother. It reflects pride in one’s roots and explores how personal and cultural history can be expressed in a contemporary way.

In the project, we used many references to the history of flamenco — drawing from the curves of a skirt, the shape of a fan, castanets, and roots. These references are directly reflected in the graphic language.

The project’s visual style, like the project itself, looks to history while presenting it in a contemporary way. It connects cultural references with a modern visual language and a fresh, current feel.
